INSTALLERLIVE SET FOR STRONG OUTING IN 2011

Leading B2B event organiser, EMAP Connect, has revealed exciting plans designed to increase value for visitors attending this year’s InstallerLive (NEC, Birmingham, 16-19 October 2011) - the only national show dedicated to plumbing, heating and renewable installers working in the domestic and commercial sector.

“The heating and plumbing market is changing fast” says the show’s Event Director, Rob Lozowski. “New technology, new incentives and new standards mean that installers need to be one step ahead. A visit to InstallerLive 2011 will give installers this knowledge and equip them with these very important skills.”

The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC), the Heating and Hot Water Industry Council (HHIC) and H&V News magazine are all supporters of InstallerLive. Major brands already confirmed to exhibit include Anton Industrial Services, Aqualisa, Baxi, Calor, Glen Dimplex, Heatrae Sadia, Horstmann, Ideal Heating, Remeha, Polypipe, Salus Controls, Stelrad, Viessmann and Vokera.

“Exhibitors will benefit from a content-rich, high quality event where they can interact directly with buyers” adds Rob. “Sunday opening means installers don’t even need to miss a day of work.”

"Viessmann is proud to support InstallerLive” says Graham Russell, the company’s Head of UK Domestic Sales and Communications. “We have been actively involved with the show since its inception and continue to find it a useful tool for talking to our customers and developing relationships. Our partnership with installers is extremely important to us and we continue to grow due to their commitment to our brand."

"We continue to take a presence at InstallerLive (and have taken an active stance since the beginning)”, comments Mike Windsor, Sales Director at Anton Industrial Services. “Every time we invest in an exhibition, we want to be sure of the track record and ability to deliver an interesting prospect for all, from exhibitor to client. This show never disappoints! This year is set to be even stronger with more content, a new venue, and more incentives for installers to attend.”

Among the exciting features planned for the show will be:

More Demo Stations: one of the most successful features at previous shows, the Demo Stations at InstallerLive 2011 will include focused areas covering Heat, Plumb and Renewables. In 2011, the focus more than ever will be on the green installer, addressing the requirements they need to capitalise on the huge opportunity in renewable technologies. Demo Stations will cover Solar PV, MCS certification, heat pumps, funding and grants. The stations will provide exhibitors and accredited training bodies with live demonstration platforms designed to help equip installers with knowledge and skills to do their job better now and in the future. Heat Pump, Solar Heating/Photo Voltaic and Training Zones: three dedicated spaces focused on renewable technologies and training. Knowledge-hungry and curious installers will be inspired by these areas to make the most of this huge growth potential. The specific zones complement the stations helping installers find out more information on the technologies, products and training available to help them achieve this goal. This year sees an increased emphasis on training and certification with a dedicated Training Zone.  Easy MCS are leading the way with their 27.5m stand.

InstallerLive Awards: these prestigious national awards take place at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham (located on the NEC campus) on the evening of Tuesday 18th October. They will bring together more than 700 industry notables to celebrate industry best practice and excellence in style.

As the leading B2B event organiser, EMAP Connect is investing significantly in InstallerLive and is focused on delivering an excellent value for exhibitors and visitors. An increased market activity spend for 2011, supports the growth and ambition EMAP has for the show. The move to the NEC, Birmingham, between 16-19 October 2011, supports this development establishing InstallerLive as a truly national show for the domestic and commercial sector. The NEC has increased transport links, which will be boosted by InstallerLive coaches to the event, and the organisers are also addressing car-parking fees at the venue.

A full exhibitor list is available from www.installerlive.com, where visitors can also register their interest. Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Karl Coppack on +44 (0)207 728 4296 or email karl.coppack@emap.com

Editor’s notes

1. EMAP Connect took over ownership of InstallerLive from CORGI in May 2010. When last held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in 2010, InstallerLive, organised by CORGI, attracted more than 3000 visitors to see 116 exhibitors.
