Emap Connect today announced it has taken over the running of the InstallerLive exhibition, the UK’s national plumbing, heating and renewables show. The sister events SpecifierLive and The CORGI Awards will also be operated by Emap Connect, who already successfully own and manage the BEST exhibition and Interbuild Onsite alongside industry leading titles H&V News and RAC magazine.
Emap is investing in InstallerLive at a critical stage in its development allowing the event to take the crucial next step. Emap’s event director for construction and building services, David Pierpoint comments “InstallerLive has developed in to a strong and vibrant exhibition under the stewardship of CORGI. The changes in the strategic direction of the CORGI Trust means that the time is now right for a major event organiser such as Emap to take InstallerLive through the next stage of its development. Emap is committed to building on the great work of the CORGI Team and to making InstallerLive an even bigger and better event for both exhibitors and visitors alike.”
CORGI chairman Craig Slater adds "Emap will enable the event to take the next important, progressive step. As a leading exhibition organiser, and with its important media such as H&V News and RAC magazines, Emap is in an ideal situation to help bring key and new audiences to InstallerLive. Training and education are extremely important to our industries, and our ongoing strategy at the CORGI Trust, is to focus on the continuing professional development of gas installers and also look to other business areas. It is also CORGI’s intention to continue to lend support to Installer Live to ensure its continued success."
InstallerLive takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 7-10 September 2010.
